Great dr and staff! Had a very difficult mouth from the beginning! No other dentist would touch my mouth but this guy right here! He truly has helped me when a lot of others were telling me to go to an oral surgeon. Any problems I have they fit me right in. Dr. Baqui has ALWAYS shown the upmost kindness, gratitude, and compassion every single time I’ve been to see him. Yesterday, he pulled every single upper tooth ( 16 ) and placed an immediate denture with just numbing medicine that was really not as bad as I expected &’ as scared as I am, he and his assistant kept me calm. I couldn’t be more thankful, he truly is the BEST &’ had I met him a lot sooner, this would’ve been done about 5 years ago!

Common Questions About Snap-on Denture

u

Do Snap-on Dentures Feel Like Normal Dentures?

Yes and no. While the shape, appearance, and feel of a snap-on denture are similar to a traditional denture, you’ll notice a difference in fit. Unlike traditional dentures, there’s no suction, rubbing, or slipping, as it snaps securely into place.

u

Are Snap-on Dentures Removable?

A snap-on denture is easy to remove for daily cleaning, offering the convenience of a removable appliance with added support for daytime wear. However, it’s recommended to take it out while sleeping.

u

Is a Snap-on Denture the Same as All-on-4?

No, a snap-on denture is not the same as All-on-4. All-on-4 dentures are a permanent, U-shaped appliance fixed to dental implants, and only a dentist can remove them. In contrast, a snap-on denture covers the roof of the mouth and can be removed by the wearer.
u

Can I Convert My Current Denture into a Snap-on Denture?

If your denture fits well but needs more stability due to bone loss or a shallow ridge, it may be possible to convert it into a snap-on denture. However, this depends on the condition of the denture and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

u

Do I Need to Use Denture Adhesive or Paste with a Snap-on Denture?

No, denture adhesives and pastes are only meant to create a seal between removable dentures and your gums. With a snap-on denture, the implants provide sufficient support, so adhesives aren’t necessary.
u

How Long Does a Snap-on Denture Last?

Most dental implants, with proper care, can last a lifetime. While snap-on dentures may eventually need replacing, they tend to last longer than traditional dentures because the implants provide better stability, resulting in fewer adjustments and relines.
